City of New Orleans Budget Meetings
The City of New Orleans is holding a series of community meetings to hear directly from residents as Mayor Helena Moreno’s administration prepares the 2027 City Budget.
These meetings give neighbors an opportunity to share their priorities for city services, infrastructure, public safety, recreation and other investments before the proposed budget is presented to the New Orleans City Council.
Because the Fontainebleau neighborhood includes residents in both City Council District A and District B, FIA members may be interested in attending either of the following meetings:
DISTRICT B
Tuesday, September 15 | 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Walter L. Cohen High School
3575 Baronne Street
New Orleans, LA 70115
DISTRICT A
Thursday, September 17 | 6:00–7:30 p.m.
Christian Brothers School
4600 Canal Street
New Orleans, LA 70119
Not sure which City Council district you live in? The City has an interactive map that allows residents to look up their district by address:

We encourage Fontainebleau neighbors to participate and make sure our neighborhood's priorities are heard as the City develops its spending plan for the coming year.
